Rituals are a form of magic cast within the world of Mahoyaku. Each ritual has its own unique source of power and rules to follow to bring the ritual to completion. Even the Great Catastrophe can be used to power a ritual.

Summoning Ritual for the Sage

Not much is known about what happened during this ritual. However, Drummond seemed to know that it had transpired. The ritual had transpired either during the Catastrophe or right after as the Sage had arrived very close to the end of the battle.

Beckon the Catastrophe

Ritual performed that created the diasterous results of the past battle. It used a moonstone as a medium. People all over the world took part in the ritual, although we are currently only aware of the summoning circle at the Lunar Palace.

The failure of this ritual led to the summoning of the Umbra Volans.

The offerings to this ritual were tied together with rose vine. Shylock states this is done when someone is merging living offerings.
